Our Approach To Matcha
Matcha Culture was born from a simple idea:
Could we approach matcha the same way we did single origin coffee, fine wine or even aged whiskey?
How we curate our blends

About Matcha Culture

The world is full of sensory detail, craftsmanship and beauty. Rooted in tradition and culture but  constantly being innovated - Matcha is one such medium that we believe will be here to stay. Matcha Culture and the blends we offer are designed to be part of our customers preferences, taste profiles and daily lives.

No Two Powders are the same

With every offering we aim to help people slow down, taste and notice something new.

Our blends are designed based on deep research. From the farming process to the preparation and cultivar, we curate blends based on their intrinsic properties and are advised by national award-winning Japanese tea masters whose knowledge spans generations. Our team are devoted students of the tea world.

Our first offering - Moon Ritual - is designed around the idea of making the perfect Matcha Latte. Our subsequent range will explore the full spectrum of taste profiles matcha has to offer.

From the curious to the experienced

Meeting our Customers and Community where they are

Matcha Culture (us) offers different levels of engagement. We offer our patented matcha blends on our website, but are very active in the community.

Made for you - Find us at events like artbox, matcha central or at our home based business and try recipes directly from our team.

Take it home - One of the main reasons we wanted to offer our blends and not just drinks is the commitment to the craft. We wanted to integrate our offerings with our communities lifestyle, preferences and personal rituals when it comes to matcha.

For a deeper appreciation - For the curious students of culture and tradition we host matcha workshops designed around self awareness, grounding, opening up the senses and exploring the history and roots of matcha - and what it means for current day matcha culture.
